The fourth annual Strides for Shelter 5K run/walk will take place April 28, 2012 at Hanover Township Community Center. The event is held in memory of Jim Bellizzi to raise funds for the Transplant House at Penn. The house opened in July and it has been providing affordable housing to families experiencing the transplant process of a loved one. We are a nonprofit organization and all proceeds from our event go to the Transplant House.
Jim passed away in 2007 after complications from his second double lung transplant. In order for our race to be a success again, we need your help. Please consider sponsorship, donating a monetary gift, donating a raffle item or running or walking on the beautiful course. Your gift is tax deductible, and by helping us you will be helping many.
